I still haven’t quite decided how frequently that I want to post (given times that I have anything to post, that is), but I think I’ll try posting weekly.

I know that it’s quite a late post, but I had the opportunity to snap a few shots of my room last month (which is coming together nicely after my recent move-in) in some pretty afternoon light and I just couldn’t leave it out.

As a student, I spend a lot of time indoors while sometimes wishing that I could be enjoying the weather outside (and believe you me, I have tried studying outdoors but my eyes just weren’t having it). In time, I found that so long as I reveled in my surroundings and the small things in my life, I could contently proceed through my work and save the adventures for more opportune timing.
As a photographer, I yearn to capture my surroundings and experiences in addition to finding chances to casually practice my photo editing techniques.
Thus, the idea for this blog!
I’ve been meaning to start this venture for a while now, but with camera issues amongst other difficulties, it just never came to be. Now that I’ve finally gotten most of those problems squared away while coming into a little bit of free time—voila! Here we are.
